Any official packages on Debian should work fine and we support it for members, but support is not for packaging issues because they aren't our packages. Once it's running, if there's a bug, we wouldn't insist a member reproduce it on some other OS to look into it.

An undefined symbol issue is an environmental or packaging problem and their packages don't tend to be that sloppy or unmaintained.
