Older Shibd version on Debian: mod_shib undefined symbol

Having said which...one reason I don't care for Debian is that even using it for testing, I have constantly found that I get packaging and dependency issues after a while, things seem to get horked up, and I can't get it back in line. Since it's testing, I just throw away and start over.

But I have not had that issue with RPM-based systems. So I gravitate to them out of personal experience. Others have the exact opposite experience.

All of which is to say, I've had stuff similar to that happen to me and never knew how to resolve it, other than sometimes uninstalling lots of it and starting them over.
