The batch provider predates the MDQ support obviously and we're judicious with exposing HttpClient settings as that's largely endless and better handled through custom client beans. We probably would consider implementing the setting given the need if it's requested.

What that means for servers is up to the servers at this point. We can only fix what's reported and like any standards issue we take them seriously.
