I'll document it once I know what to document. I didn't know of any change like this, though obviously the SP isn't even meant to be pulling metadata from random web servers like this to begin with. Federations should be running properly updated endpoints.

It's possible you have the TransportOption in the wrong place or it's possible that doesn't even work on OpenSSL 3.

I would need a bug filed with an endpoint to test against that shows the problem.
