Yes, that's become a "known" issue. We don't know why, obviously the code inside the server has no idea what application will be running, we're using the same API internally regardless. Since it was consistent with V2 and because ASP Classic is really dead anyway, it's not a high priority issue.

I know nothing about IIS anymore, but I'll have to compare to mine when I have a chance.

In any event, this conversation flushed out a nasty accidental behavior so it's been filed.
