SOAP ArtifactResolutionService question

Hi all,
I'm working with a hosted CMS that has a custom SAML plugin, they are
saying I do not have SOAP ArtifactResolutionService defined in my metadata
and that they need this configured in order to get SSO working.
Now, we've never had this setup in test and their older plugin worked
without it. So I'm really not sure what to say to this, or if it even
should matter.
This all started when we were upgrading to IdPv3, and their custom plugin
stopped working.
They've been rewriting their plugin to work with IdP v3, and it hasn't been
the most pleasant experience overall for obvious reasons.
Any suggestions? I'm not in the position to force the upgrade and leave
them trying to fix it.
Thanks,
Mike
