I have started with an Ansible playbook for an IdP v3:

It is still very much a work in progress, nonetheless I have gotten it to work locally using Vagrant. You can find playbooks for other Shibboleth components - some of them even more rudimentary - under our account: https://github.com/ubuntunet <https://github.com/ubuntunet>
Please bear in mind that I am rather new to Shibboleth as well as Ansible, so there is definitely room for improvement. PRs are more than welcome.
