Sorry. While the docs (e.g. the graphic at the bottom of page 7 of
https://fmhelp.filemaker.com/docs/14/en/fm14_webdirect_guide.pdf)
imply there's a web server in place that communicates with the "Web
Publiching Engine" via HTTP (and the other doc I linked to mentioned
Apache httpd and IIS as web servers) there's nothing in that document
about proxying, or how to pass information from the web server (and
hence from Shibboleth) to the "Web Publishing Engine" and therefor
into the "Database Server".
I suggest opening a support call with them on how data passed as HTTP
request headers from a proxying web server can be accessed from within
their framework.
