No, it won't. External login handlers are for your own code, not for making use of form-based authentication that relies on the login view.

Beyond that, nobody here can support *your* external handler. That's your code. If you have a question regarding developing that servlet, you can ask on the dev list, but "tell me what's wrong" is not a question.
