IdP3.1.1 unable to render login page

Does it mean if i use* Auth/External* , we will not be able to make any
form based authentication to render login views in Idp 3.1.1?
                if so ,do need to relay on login.jsp as in IDP 2.4 and copy
them under /idp/login.jsp folder ?
