Firstly, it's /Shibboleth.sso/Status, so you have both parts of that URL
wrongly cased.
Secondly, if the site won't respond at all with a 404 or an error, that
might mean you don't have SSL enabled, which has nothing to do with the SP
at all, that's up to IIS. And in any case IIS will hide the real errors
from you as the wiki notes, unless you fix it to stop doing that. If SSL
is on, and that's an actual error page, IIS is hiding it from you.
