Well,
I run a service provider under SLES 11 SP 3, but ...
... I chose not to use the apache2 http server from SuSe, but to
compile it directly
from the sources (this involves installing a some packages and a lot
of -devel packages. Error messages
from the build process guided me what to install.).
I keep apache always up-to-date to the most recent versions of
apache-httpd 2.4
... I also chose to compile the service provider from source.
After configuration I got a working Service provider on SLE 11 SP3.
