Need help in configuring Shibboleth IDP and test it with my own REST Service (SP)

Hi,

Do you have simple steps to configure Shibboleth IDP?

And I would like to configure my own REST Service (SP) with Shibboleth IDP.

*Few more questions:*

How does the client authenticate to the IdP?
How does the REST service pass the client session to the IdP  for SAML
AuthN ?
