What's available is what's in the wiki. Whether you find it simple or not
doesn't affect the required steps. You need a variety of skills already,
which are outlined in the wiki, or you will have a steep learning curve.

The part of SAML designed for non-browser clients is called ECP, and there
is some overview material on it in the wiki. You will not find any off the
shelf clients for it. Implementations that are known can be found via
links from the ECP page. [1]

The first is answered by the ECP specification.

The second doesn't make sense as a question.
