Yes if you don't configure SAML 2 logout, it won't try that, and that
won't trigger the bug. That is in fact the bug you're experiencing, you're
right. Thank you for tracking it down.

I can find the patch if I go looking, but if you're going to build it from
source, you would simply use the latest version, which is going to be 2.5
in a matter of a few days.
