Translation of messages in Shibboleth IdP 5

I had a closer look at some tools that offer translation services for 
free for open source projects. A good candidate with a promising list of

@Scott: Would crowdin.com be something that the Shibboleth project would 
be willing to use and would the Shibboleth project meet the 9 
requirements listed here

project have other ideas how translation could be managed?
