n00b trying to build opensaml

Building anything with Maven more or less "just works" because it pulls the dependencies, you don't have to build them all (or OpenSAML itself for that matter).

I suspect what you're missing is the proper Maven set up, I linked in the topic a bit more clearly, but https://shibboleth.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/DEV/pages/2891317253/MavenRepositories is what you're after.

If you're programming with all this, then the revised project layout information at https://shibboleth.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/IDP5/pages/3251470353/Project+Layout is helpful but mostly as a contrast to the older layout for those familiar with it.
