Next Shib release?

Hi all,
I work at Duo Security and a couple months ago I put in a ticket about
updating our DuoJava version in Shibboleth.
https://issues.shibboleth.net/jira/browse/IDP-1188
I remember Scott saying that we'd be able to roll it into the next release
of Shibboleth. However, I've been getting a couple questions on when that
next release will be. I was wondering if there was any type of public
schedule or plan regarding that.
