No idea if anyone was relying on this as a negative feature, if so we may want a switch to disable merging of results.

I would like to see this switch implemented.  There are a few sites I know of that use it as a sanity check even though you should only get one entry no matter what.

Made sense to me, and I'd buy a round for you and Rod.  The attribute stuff is the rocket surgery here.
