Implementing protocols other than saml would probably be more possible
with v3 than v2.

One of the larger tasks we have for v3 is to decompose saml profile
handling into web flow actions. It would be interesting for you to do
the same, if you have not already, for cas. That would help us
exercise our session and persistence code as well as general design.

What do you think about targeting v3 instead of v2 ?
