It probably is the “right” idea, but obviously a lot more work. Also, we don’t really “inject” a classpath into Jetty, it actually comes from the Eclipse workspace computing everything for us AFAIK, so it may be much tougher to even get the classpath right if it has to be manipulated.

The other factor is that my actual real world usage of the testbed involves frequent modification of the files because I do most of my real testing artificially and not systematically through unit testing. Not being able to do so without writing code would be pretty disabling for me.

I am not necessarily claiming any of that is “good”, but given the quality of the releases, it at least works well for me.
