I saw a comment on https://marc.info/?l=shibboleth-users&m=165333458819061&w=2 ( https://marc.info/?l=shibboleth-users&m=165333458819061&w=2 ) that there is no way to include the first factor subject as the subject in a second factor authn/SAML request to an upstream SAML IdP.

It seems that there is no way to pass an user subject from factor 1 to factor 2 during MFA flow.

We would like to use a similar mechanism with the MFA authn flow to that with duo-authn, which can get the user principal from the preceding authn flow.
