This is ringing bells, unfortunately. As far as I can tell, none of the 5.x series artifacts in any of the 5. [456] series have signatures in Maven Central after the release of 5.4.30.

So upgrading even to 5.4.3 [123] would require us to find a signature somewhere, or sign it ourselves.

5.6.14 pulls in quite a few other dependencies, and would require multiple keys to be dug up, as well as the lack of a signature on the base artifact.
