Shibboleth Identity Provider V5.2.0 now available

I should have noted that the MSI advice extends to Jetty. We intend to work on getting a Jetty 12.1 MSI installer built and tested, but that's not going to happen immediately. Our focus was and is on the newly released Jetty plugin [1], which includes Windows support.

We would encourage anybody using the old Jetty installer to consider a lateral move to that approach to obtain more automatic support for 12.1, as that's the version it's based around right now.

We don't intend to discontinue the MSI until the V6 IdP "stage" but it is at least heavily deprecated at this point.

The plugin is intended to be viable for both novice and expert Jetty users and configurations and is a better foundation for really all deployers at this stage regardless of platform.

The MSI will be published when available under that location, but please consider migrating to the standard installer, as it is functionally identical, and can be used to upgrade MSI-installed versions of the IdP. We will be discontinuing the MSI variant in the future, likely with the eventual release of V6.0
