OIDC upgrades don't appear to provide new versions of files

Hi list,

When I upgraded  OIDC OP from 4.2.1 to 4.3.0  I couldn't find a oidc.properties.new or equivalent so I could check if there are any new attributes.
The release notes mention new attributes and comments can be found in oidc.properties file.

The only way I found was to uninstall oidc_op which created oid.propeties.idpsave so when I re-installed the updated version I could then compare the contents.

I vaguely remember previously that when files where updated and a manual change had been made to the contents and new file was created with a version number appended and the original remained.
viz. I was expecting to find oidc.properties.430 or similar.

Is this no longer the case?
