Jetty 11 is producing excessive number of threads

Per my comment in Jira, if two-ish people see an issue that is not happening to "most" others (if anybody else at all), then my recommendation would be to share notes on what specific configuration might be implicated that isn't typically getting used.

Plugins, features, unusual settings...

I can't think of how else to begin to track down something when our code isn't showing up in the stack.

The other thing I would be flagging is remote system use. If you're using a database or memcache for anything, that's a serious red flag, and JDBC drivers are absolute garbage, so if there's anything like that in the mix, I would immediately be suspicious.

That's the sort of thing I'd be looking for.
