Logout & redirection not happening

Hi, Looking for some help please.  I'm trying to get the SP (v3.4.0)
session logged out and then redirected to an intranet home page.
Have configured
<Logout> SAML2 Local</Logout>
The app calls "/Logout?return=www.homepage.com" on logoff but the browser
is redirected to the IdP and stays there. I can see that on the SP the
session is destroyed.

If i set it to just Local only, it destroys the session and also redirects
to the homepage as required.
Am I missing some config to request the IdP to redirect after logout?
