Shibboleth WebAuthn Plugin V0.9.0 release candidate now available

The Shibboleth project is pleased to announce the first release candidate of the WebAuthn authentication plugin [1].

You can find the appropriate version for download by checking the project's Status page [2] from Saturday the 17th of August. As this is a release candidate and not a production release, please review the installation instructions on the Plugin Testing Wiki page [3].

The release candidate addresses various issues that were identified by beta testers. We would like to express our gratitude to Timo Tunturi (Aalto University) and Janne Lauros (CSC) for their valuable feedback throughout the alpha and beta phases.

Assuming no further issues arise, we expect to release version 1.0.0 at the end of August or very early in September.

Note, that a release candidate plugin is for testing purposes only and should not be used in production. Testers are welcome to provide feedback and report bugs on the project's issues page [4].
