Hi Scott,

That's the issue the Jetty/Shibboleth service does start is shows as running with no errors in the syslog, but the service logs aka idp-*.log files do not log anything.

Lack of logging of the IdP itself simply means, permission issues aside, that the IdP isn't starting, the actual issues are in the container's log, which in Jetty's case isn't always trivial either.

There aren't any likely scenarios in which the IdP would run but not log, other than rights.
