Regarding Shibboleth IdP's Future Support for Tomcat

Hello.
Please excuse my poor English.

Currently Shibboleth IdP supports two runtimes, Tomcat and Jetty. Is there any possibility that Shibboleth IdP will support only Jetty in the future?
Since the recommended configuration is Jetty, we would like to know if there is a possibility that Tomcat will no longer be supported in the future.
