SEGFAULT on RHEL9 when using metadata downloaded via HTTPS

It's not that package that's the issue, it's the fact that you have old SP packages left in place. To upgrade, you'd have to strip out everything that wasn't part of the OS package set first and then reinstall the proper packages after.

I still wouldn't do it, as I don't trust their upgrades and it's just not worth the risk, but in theory that's the bare minimum needed.
