User's IP address constantly changing

OK, so what could cause:

net.shibboleth.idp.authn.ExternalAuthenticationException: No ExternalInterceptorContext

I see now that some of these don't have a changing IP address.

It breaks if your load balancer breaks. The only requirement we have for a single request is that it stay on one server for its life, not that the address is stable. Nothing in any Java containers I know of bind sessions to addresses.
