Shibboleth installation fails with IIS support checked

Thank you both.  I ran the install without IIS, and then I ran the appcmd install commands separately, but I got the error that they were already installed.  So, I ran appcmd uninstall on both of the modules and then I reinstalled them using appcmd again.

This worked, however, now none of my IIS websites are working.  When I browse to localhost, I should see the default IIS website, but I'm getting a 503 error.

I used appcmd to uninstall the Shibboleth modules, and my websites started working again.  Then I reinstalled, and the 503 errors came back.

Event Viewer shows errors like: A listener channel for protocol 'http' in worker process '5312' serving application pool 'DefaultAppPool' reported a listener channel failure.  The data field contains the error number.
And then: Application pool 'DefaultAppPool' is being automatically disabled due to a series of failures in the process(es) serving that application pool.

Nothing in the IIS logs.

Any idea why having these Shibboleth modules installed is breaking my IIS, or how to troubleshoot?
