<p class="MsoNormal">Thank you both. I ran the install without IIS, and then I ran the appcmd install commands separately, but I got the error that they were already installed. So, I ran appcmd uninstall on both of the modules and then I reinstalled them
using appcmd again. <o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">This worked, however, now none of my IIS websites are working. When I browse to localhost, I should see the default IIS website, but I’m getting a 503 error.<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">I used appcmd to uninstall the Shibboleth modules, and my websites started working again. Then I reinstalled, and the 503 errors came back.

<p class="MsoNormal">Event Viewer shows errors like: <span style="font-size:9.0pt;font-family:"Segoe UI",sans-serif">
A listener channel for protocol 'http' in worker process '5312' serving application pool 'DefaultAppPool' reported a listener channel failure. The data field contains the error number.</span><o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">And then: <span style="font-size:9.0pt;font-family:"Segoe UI",sans-serif">
Application pool 'DefaultAppPool' is being automatically disabled due to a series of failures in the process(es) serving that application pool.</span><o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">Nothing in the IIS logs.<o:p></o:p></p>
