newbie on EDS, form shows empty select list

It is.

 

The Discovery protocol is SP->DS->SP->IdP.  The DS is told where (on the SP) to send the browser to as a parameter.  So the return
string is a test against the SP's URL - the DS only knows about IdPs as abstract objects (it knows nothing of protocols and end
points).

 

In general (Shibboleth) SP end points have Shibboleth.sso in them and (Shibboleth) idp endpoints have 'idp' in them
