case sensitivity in attribute filters?

I'm working on modifying some attribute policy filters as part of an
upgrade. In a sample configuration provided to us, I notice
caseSensitive="true" was used, and I see an example of this in the v4 docs
here <

>
But we've previously used ignoreCase="false" as an equivalent, I think, and
this also seems to be in v4 examples, e.g. <

Is there a difference between them? Which is the preferred or best practice?
Similarly, we've previously used Rule as the element, but the v4 docs seem
to use AttributeRule. Is Rule deprecated?
