unable to locate metadata for provider error

Do you see any other factor I should check for?
Since the metadata file is very much there at the path mentioned in the
shibboleth2.xml file I dont see why it sends this warning.

The user sees the following message on the browser:

Unknown or Unusable Identity Provider
The identity provider supplying your login credentials is not authorized
for use with this service or does not support the necessary capabilities.

EntityID: https:// xxxx
opensaml::saml2md::MetadataException: Unable to locate metadata for
identity provider (https:// xxxx  )

The 'xxxx' above is just for masking purposes.
