No idea whatsoever other than it's obviously a bug. If it's not reproducible you'd have to get a stack trace with the debug build or get the symbols installed at least. I have no experience with any debugging on Windows outside of the IDE and no idea how to go about it. I don't know which DLLs are include in the install any longer, the debug files used to be there but IIRC they're not anymore.
