Idp 3 could not open connection to MySql

So do you think is just a JDBC instability? And why did it worked for the last year?
The server didn't do a single update as the jdbc driver.
I increased as i said the number of connections and in the last days the idp didn't stop.
Is it possible that Tomcat/Idp drops some connections after that error said above? Or keep that connections in stale after that?
