Thanks, that's also surprising and interesting. I don't know why that would make such a difference. Certainly an interesting avenue to follow up. If that's really what's causing the problem, that's a lot easier to talk around. 3 minutes isn't great but it's hardly out of range with how long Tomcat can spend starting up these days (which is not a compliment, just a point of comparison).

I certainly didn't ever imagine it was tied to a specific kind of content.
