Shibboleth SP v3 support for OpenID Connect

Hello all-- Reaching out to see how service providers can integrate with
OpenID Connect. Wiki Supported Protocols
<https://wiki.shibboleth.net/confluence/display/DEV/Supported+Protocols>
documentation indicates that OpenID Connect integration is not supported
with native SP. Is there a workaround available?
