I can't tell you the attributes *work* functionally, but I can definitely say it's not failing to login, nothing like that ever happened in my testing with this.

What's the entityID you're using with them? Maybe it's not the same version of their system. I think it's one global SP for everybody but maybe it's tenanted and they have different configurations.
