Is "Azure" one thing only?  Or are you mixing talk about SaaS
offerings (possibly pre-integrated with some MS-provided SSO system
using whatever protocol) with talk about IaaS offerings where you
run/manage your own server on someone else's hardware?

If the latter why would this be any different than hosting a server
yourself?
