Then it has a bug, or perhaps you have third party cookies off and it's incapable of clearing them during the logout in the iframe on the app side.

Either way the red X would not generally appear if the IdP got back a successful response, unless the response were unsigned or there were some other indication of problems in the log handling it. Just tracing a message doesn't prove anything, it's just one part of a complex puzzle.

Logout is largely out of bounds for free support from me, so that's all I will say about it. Hopefully somebody else can suggest something.
