Upgrading from 3.3.3 to 3.4.4

Yes - I have also checked the permissions (chown -R shib /opt/shibboleth-idp
& chgrp -R shib /opt/shibboleth-idp).

I have also manually entered the path '/opt/shibboleth-idp'

Same messaging occurs; as it is non-prod, I also tried running install with
'root' - same messaging.

[shib at idp1 shibboleth-idp]$ pwd

/opt/shibboleth-idp

[shib at idp1 shibboleth-idp]$ ls

bin   credentials  doc          flows        logs      metadata
old-20180628-2138  old-20180628-2245  old-20190628-1439  old-20190628-1610
