v3.3.3 - possible to call webservice with interceptor flow?

It seems I need to upgrade to 3.4 to use HTTP client in attribute resolver.
That is a bigger effort than I cant push to production yet.

Is there a way to perhaps call a webservice from the interceptor flow?
