Deprecated warning question/inconsistency

Prior to upgrade from IdP 3.3.3 to 3.4.0, I was getting these warnings upon IdP startup:

After the upgrade to 3.4.0 as well as 3.4.1, I am not getting these warnings anymore.  I am only getting a new "warning" (which I understand and is not related to deprecation):
2018-10-23 13:38:41,189 - INFO [net.shibboleth.idp.saml.metadata.RelyingPartyMetadataProvider:161] - |||Top level Metadata Provider 'ShibbolethMetadata' did not have a sort key; giving it value '1'

So what happened to those original deprecation warnings?  Are they still compatible with IdP 4.0 so the warnings are temporarily removed (just from the 3.4.x versions) or was this missed and they should be slipped back in to 3.4.2?

According to https://wiki.shibboleth.net/confluence/display/IDP30/DeprecatedIdPV4 , it looks like it is all still deprecated.

I'm surprised this wouldn't have been noticed/reported, but I don't think it's mentioned in "Missed Deprecations in 3.4" ( https://issues.shibboleth.net/jira/browse/IDP-1361?jql=project%20%3D%20IDP%20AND%20fixVersion%20%3D%203.4.2 ) so I thought I better make time to mention it.
