Regarding connecting ECP client with Shibboleth

Hi all,
I am very new to Shibboleth and ECP.
I am trying to connect an ECP client with shibboleth and examine how  it
works. I installed Shibboleth IDP v3  and SP but couldn't configure them
correctly to configure ECP. I tried many examples from internet but all
failed. Can anyone please give my some guidance or any documents to follow.
It would be very helpful for me.
I used the bash client in this link.
