The latter.  What I meant by "not possible" is that there is no case in which the SP expires anything prematurely. Not once has it ever been documented despite hundreds of claims to the contrary. There's always another reason, it's a matter of determining it. There are too many error paths behind that message and I need to get in there and replace most of them so it stops misleading people. The short term answer is to ignore that log and use the one with most of the real details. 

The default timeout is an hour, FWIW.

This is the free list; the developers aren't paid any longer to provide support here, I do it on occasion and in brief. Usually when I think the software is at fault for confusing somebody I will say something, and that's the case here. This isn't, more than likely, a timeout at all.
