Maybe it does.  Looking more precisely at our configuration, we use a 
'Shibboleth' application for the iframe and an 'Auth API' for the API 
calls.  This works for us and was recommended by Duo.  Whether or not the 
'Web SDK' application will continue to work for both is not for me to say.
